Educational Requirements:
• Associates degree in electronics, mechanical design, drafting or experience as an electronics technician or equivalent experience.

Minimum qualifications & experience:
• Excellent soldering skills (surface mount and through hole)
• Knowledge of ANSI/IPC-A-610 standards
• Computer literate with the ability to organize, maintain and track data on Excel spreadsheets
• Read, understand, interpret, modify and create Electronic Schematics
• Read, understand and interpret Mechanical Drawings
• Electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting/analytical skills
• Quality inspection skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize assignments
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Ability to pass standard color blindness test

• Provide technical support to the Production and Support staff
• Build and troubleshoot prototype electronic boards
• Assist Engineering staff with testing and project development and assist Quality with root cause analysis and preventive actions
• Perform formal and diagnostic testing on products
• Participate in Engineering design reviews
• Evaluate and repair products
• Test, qualify and submit approval of new parts and materials
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Perform environmental testing according to procedures provided and report results
• Works within company guidelines, policies and procedures
