Effective January 1, 2026, Air-Weigh will retire the LoadMaxx® on-board scale from production. This change does not affect support, warranty coverage, or the long-term serviceability of existing LoadMaxx units in the field.

To ensure fleets have a direct, zero-disruption upgrade path, Air-Weigh is introducing the next generation of on-board weighing: iWeigh®

Why LoadMaxx Is Ending Production

LoadMaxx® is reaching its formal End-of-Life due to discontinued components required for the original hardware architecture. iWeigh® replaces those older chipsets with modern, supported electronics, Bluetooth® connectivity, and a flexible handheld-managed interface

What’s Not Changing

  • All existing LoadMaxx® units remain fully supported.

  • All warranty coverage remains unchanged (36-month hardware warranty per policy).

  • LoadMaxx Plus®, QuickLoad®, and QuickLoad Plus® continue normal production.

  • Documentation, drawings, and technical resources remain available.

  • Air-Weigh® Customer Success and Account Managers continue supporting every LoadMaxx® customer.

Key Dates

  • December 31, 2025 – Final production date for LoadMaxx Truck/Tractor.

  • January 1, 2026 – LoadMaxx® officially enters End-of-Life (EOL). No new orders accepted.

  • Ongoing – LoadMaxx Plus®, QuickLoad®, and QuickLoad Plus® remain in production.

  • Mid-November 2025 – iWeigh iOS application release.

Customers with special timing requirements should contact their Air-Weigh Account Manager.

 

Support After 2026

LoadMaxx® product support continues with no changes:

  • Warranty honored for all existing LoadMaxx® units (36 months).

  • Customer Success Team remains available for troubleshooting and configuration support.

  • Full documentation and training resources remain accessible.

  • Backward-compatible iWeigh transition hardware (FSK) available any time.

There is no loss of support after the EOL date.

Upgrading from LoadMaxx®to iWeigh®

Current LoadMaxx and LoadMaxx Plus users can move to iWeigh LoadMaxx® Compatible through:

  • FSK backward-compatibility hardware

  • Optional micro-display for fleets wanting a compact in-dash readout

  • Bluetooth® connection to mobile devices for scale viewing and calibration

  • Compatibility with existing air-ride or mechanical configurations, including tractors, straight trucks, and multi-trailer setups

Air-Weigh will help fleets plan the transition model by model.

Future Product Path

To simplify planning:

  • LoadMaxx Plus transitions to iWeigh, with or without FSK depending on fleet needs

  • QuickLoad (Air-Ride) transitions to QuickWeigh

  • QuickLoad (Mechanical) transitions to iWeigh

  • QuickLoad Plus remains stable and unchanged

  • No regulatory or compliance issues are introduced by iWeigh

 

iWeigh® Transition FAQ

When exactly in 2026 (which months) are you planning to discontinue LoadMaxx Truck?LoadMaxx Truck/Tractor is being discontinued 12/31/25. We have plans to work with a limited number of customers who need more time.
Will there be any advance notice or timeline provided before the discontinuation?Notice has been given to all National accounts, Truck/Tractor OEMS, and some Dealers. This has been going on since the beginning of the year and is ongoing.
Are there any specific reasons for discontinuing the LoadMaxx Truck?EOL (End of life) chip
What will happen to the existing LoadMaxx Truck units in the market?Customers can work with Air-Weigh to discuss upgrade options.
Are there any plans to support current LoadMaxx Truck users after the discontinuation?The Customer Success Team will continue to support customers, and the Hardware Warranty will cover Current Systems for 36 months per policy.
Will the LoadMaxx Plus and QuickLoad Plus product lines undergo any changes in the near future?No Planned Changes- Product is Stable
Can you provide more details on the engineering drawings for our manuals and drawings, and when we can expect to receive them?Available for Distribution
What is the status of the iOS application, and when do you anticipate its release?Planned for Mid-November 2025 release
How will the transition to iWeigh affect our current operations and support?Air-Weigh will continue to support the LoadMaxx family of products and encourages OEMs to discuss customer orders with their respective Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition to the next-generation iWeigh or QuickWeigh product families.
Are there any training or resources available to help our team transition to iWeigh?The Air-Weigh Customer Success Team and Account Managers are available to ensure a smooth transition to the next generation iWeigh or QuickWeigh product families.
Will there be any changes in pricing or service agreements for the new products?Hardware Pricing is provided upon request. Service Plans are related to integration accounts and are discussed with them accordingly.
Is there any additional information or documentation that we should be aware of regarding these changes?Training and product documentation are available upon request and will be posted on this website.
Will the iWeigh system require any specific hardware updates for existing users?Existing LoadMaxx and LoadMaxx Plus customers can transition to iWeigh with FSK to provide backward compatibility.
Will you still sell LoadMaxx Plus and QuickLoad Plus as standalone scales with no end date in sight?Yes, to save on costs and the eventual transition to iWeigh, we are recommending that National accounts make the switch sooner rather than later. They can continue to buy LoadMaxx/QuickLoad Plus units, but they will have to buy iWeigh FSK if they want backward compatibility.
Are there any regulatory compliance issues that we should be aware of with iWeigh?No
Can you share the timeline for the rollout of updates to the QuickLoad Plus product line?There are no plans to update this product line, as the product is stable.
Are there any changes expected in the data storage or data privacy policies with iWeigh?We are currently working on a new release of policies, data storage, privacy, and related topics that will cover both App and Portal usage. We are hoping to have this done by December 2025.
How will the integration of iWeigh with existing fleet management systems be handled?This is a case-by-case situation, so there is no one-size-fits-all answer. In general, we send the Data out, and the 3rd-party company collects it via API, Bluetooth, J1939, or RS232.
Are there plans for a phased rollout of iWeigh, or will it be a one-time switchWe are currently implementing the iWeigh rollout.
