The LoadMaxx® series of tractor and trailer scales are designed to work as a pair, offering a seamless, complete weighing solution for a single tractor/trailer or an entire fleet. Designed for drop-and-hook fleets, the in-cab display shows steer, drive, trailer, GVW, and net payload. Simply coupling any LoadMaxx Plus® trailer to a tractor equipped with LoadMaxx®, weight information is automatically supplied to the tractor display. By multiplexing through the existing 7-way connection, pairing is automatic, without any driver interaction or adding another truck and trailer connection.
With EVs, the cars are getting heavier. With every electrification point of a vehicle, it’s 200 to 300 more pounds vs. a gas version. A hybrid is 200 to 300 pounds more than the gas car and a full EV is another 200 to 300 pounds. That makes these scales all the more critical.
